Foram divulgados os resultados da Grande Final Online do SuperTmatik, 10ª edição da competição do Cálculo Mental. A Beatriz Fernandes e Pedro Ribas alcançaram, respetivamente a 79ª e 224ª posição na categoria do 7º ano na qual participaram 32 100 alunos. A Maria Teresa Mendes e o Rafael Cunha obtiveram, respetivamente, o 262º e 309º lugar na categoria do 8º ano na qual participaram 30 075 alunos. Nesta competição participaram alunos de 48 nacionalidades diferentes. Estão todos de parabéns.
On 3rd May, a Reading Bee contest was held for the first time in our school.
The contest was directed at every 9th year student. Reading Bee was about reading “Billy Elliot”, then we had to answer 20 multiple choice questions and one last question about our own opinion of the book.
The School’s Spelling Bee contest was held at the school’s Auditorium on 3rd May, with the participation of many students and teachers, to see who would become the school’s best speller. Students liked the challenge and enjoyed competing against other students in a happy and friendly environment. “It was a fantastic experience and it should be something for English students to aspire and to train for, as it will help you to better understand this international language that is English,” said Miguel Dias, second-time champion.
É um projeto destinado ao ensino básico, a desenvolver na nossa escola em 2016-2017.
As inscrições estão abertas, através do preenchimento do destacável, entregue no ato de matrícula ao diretor de turma ou na secretaria.

“Almada - Rotas de Abril” é um projeto do Gabinete de Relações Exteriores da Escola Secundária Fernão Mendes Pinto, coordenado pelo Curso Profissional de Técnico de Turismo, no âmbito do Programa de Apoio a Projetos Socioeducativos da Câmara Municipal de Almada 2015-2016.
